I got overwhelmed because of too much noise. I noticed my body getting into fight or flight mode and i was getting very very irritable. I started yelling and not being able to control myself.
So i ran to the bathroom. I felt like punching shit. So i did some jumping jacks to release some energy. I feel like it kinda worked. After like 40 seconds i stopped and took deep breaths until i felt ready.
Do you do something similar?

Hello everyone, I'm a homeowner like many of you and I've been mulling over some experiences I've had while trying to get home services scheduled and completed. Sometimes it feels like a more challenging process than it should be in 2023! I've been working with different platforms, trying to get a simple plumbing job done last week and it turned into a nightmare. So I've had Hinge on and off for years with no problems, I'm always respectful. I have deleted/recreated my account before, but we've all done that. Well last week I opened it up on my Iphone to find out I was banned - no clue why. Denied appeal, etc.
So I research and go the burner android route. Use new photos, purchase premium (as Hinge is basically useless without it now), use new photos, VPN, etc. All is working great, getting matches, having conversations, etc.
Here's where I think I messed up. I decided to try the BBB approach since I felt like I was banned unfairly and wanted it back on my main phone. Sent that in on Sunday and got a response this morning - denied and some BS about "we can't tell you what you did, but you definitely broke the rules". Then I started noticing after receiving that email I was getting no new matches and no one was responding to my messages on my burner. So I go to purchase Boost as a test - boom - shadowbanned on my burner.
Now, I also used an existing gmail account that I had, so that could have raised some red flags too (even though my AppleID was through a yahoo email, the text before the yahoo and gmail were the exact same).
My issue was when I bought the burner, I initially did create a new gmail, but when I tried to subscribe to something on Google Play (VPN, not Hinge) Google denied the subscription - presumably because it's a brand new ID and they thought it could be fraud. It WOULD however let me make a 1 time purchase like for a game on Google Play. Has anyone else experienced this? I will go the burner route again here in a week or so, but I'm wondering about the new gmail ID subscription.

I own a print shop and try to do ads on meta, for my IG page after being told that IG boosts are not as effective. I had a meta marketing person call me and went over things and creating a marketing plan, for which the provided link never even worked. They then refused to respond to emails. The process of creating an ad is incredibly overwhelming. Different ad accounts, campaigns, ad sets, all way too much. I want a simply ad to promote a fathers day sale of one of my products. I see now on the meta business suite page there is a simple "create ad" button. Should I be using that vs the insanity of the ad manager? The worse part is that meta won't even help me give them money. Support is the WORST.

I noticed a post on a relationship advice subreddit about a coworker who was avoiding the OP, and the top comment said OP should "check on said friend through a mutual friend."
This unlocked a realization in my head. I feel that I should NEVER ask mutual friends about a specific person or for advice on dealing with that person. Here's my reasoning, and correct me if I'm wrong:
If you're pursuing a romantic relationship with another person or are attracted to them, you should NEVER tell other people about your crush (at least, if you're not close with them) or otherwise get other people directly involved in the relationship, because it could make things awkward for the other person. In my experience, people tend to get riled up about crushes/potential romantic interests REALLY quickly. I have also unknowingly extended this logic to other interpersonal situations that are outside the strictly romantic realm as well. Therefore, crushes, and other interpersonal situations by extension, shall NEVER be released to your peers, and you have to take care of it by yourself.
I learned this the hard way during my high school crushes. Since I was young and didn't know of any alternative method to seek guidance, I told a lot of my peers (except the actual person I liked) that I had a crush on that person and asked them for advice. To be fair, I wasn't actually close with these people and only told them out of hope that they would leverage their connection with the person to get them to like me back or at least offer some advice as to how to pursue the relationship. This knowledge would eventually spread around and get back to the other person. This made things awkward for the other person and made them feel pressured. Some of these crushes would also later block me on social media.
This is why I become extremely uncomfortable and get wary of answering my friends if they ask if I have a crush on another person, regardless of whether or not I actually have a potential romantic interest in mind, even if they say they'll keep it confidential. I remember telling some of my peers "please don't tell anyone else this" when asking them for advice on my crushes (again, to be fair, I wasn't very close with them), and yet, other people would eventually know. I don't trust anyone outside of a very, very select few people to keep information secret. I fear my peers will use it as an opportunity to pry open my romantic life and pursue the relationship or set up the interpersonal situation for me, The other person may believe that I have recruited an army of my friends to try to force them to be with me and make them feel pressured.
I'm also wary of asking mutual friends for advice on dealing with another person since I fear receiving downright bad advice and falling prey to it. I remember during one of my high school crushes, when I asked a lot people for advice (as usual) and listened to advice that fit with my hopes of eventually dating her, while ignoring advice that went against these beliefs. It just so happened that I ended up following advice that was just downright bad, such as obsessing from afar, treating the situation as a competition with other potential romantic interests, and getting other people involved, while I ignored advice that would have actually been useful, such as moving on.
I also fear that asking mutual friends for advice would present me as "weak", unconfident, and unable to handle crushes and other non-romantic social situations myself, and therefore someone no one should date or otherwise be close friends with. People usually say the following in terms of pursuing a romantic relationship: why would you do all this work of telling a bunch of people about your crush and trying to recruit an army of friends to build the relationship for you, when you could just go up and bite the bullet by talking to your crush and asking them out? If you spend all your time and energy asking a bunch of people about dealing with your crush, you're just circumventing the problem by obsessing from afar and not getting anywhere, and you could just use that same energy to ask them out. Girls want boys who are confident and therefore can handle crushes. Therefore, if you ask mutual friends for advice on crushes/interpersonal situations, you are not confident and therefore you are not relationship material.
Please change this view. I feel that this view should be changed I may have a strong network of friends but I believe this view is preventing me from using it to its full potential. I feel like I have to carry a huge burden in interpersonal relationships with little to no guidance and risking messing things up without having outside opinions/judgment to guide me and therefore feeling better not doing anything at all. It just feels like a missing part of my interpersonal relationships/interpersonal situations. It just feels wrong to have a support system that could potentially be useful but also something I refuse to use. I could seek advice from parents/my therapist/random internet strangers on Reddit, but while I don't think they're incorrect and I don't mean this as a personal offense to them, I feel that they're "out of touch" from my perspective mainly because they're older than me and may not know me personally or be relatable as much as someone my own age.

Like the title says, have tried many things and have been on with razer support all day. Nothing is working. My laptop does not exist to synapse which unfortunately controls a lot on this thing. Any help?

What's going on?
A recent reddit policy change threatens to kill many beloved third-party mobile apps, making a great many quality-of-life features not seen in the official mobile app permanently inaccessible to users.
On May 31, 2023, reddit announced they were raising the price to make calls to their API from being free to a level that will kill every third party app on reddit, from Apollo to reddit is Fun to Narwhal to BaconReader.
Even if you're not a mobile user and don't use any of those apps, this is a step toward killing other ways of customizing Reddit, such as Reddit Enhancement Suite or the use of the old.reddit.com desktop interface .
This isn't only a problem on the user level: many subreddit moderators depend on tools only available outside the official app to keep their communities on-topic and spam-free. What's the plan?
On June 12th, many subreddits will be going dark to protest this policy. Some will return after 48 hours: others will go away permanently unless the issue is adequately addressed, since many moderators aren't able to put in the work they do with the poor tools available through the official app. This isn't something any of us do lightly: we do what we do because we love Reddit, and we truly believe this change will make it impossible to keep doing what we love.
The two-day blackout isn't the goal, and it isn't the end. Should things reach the 14th with no sign of Reddit choosing to fix what they've broken, we'll use the community and buzz we've built between then and now as a tool for further action. What can you do as a user?

Suggest anyone you know who moderates a subreddit join the coordinated mod effort at /ModCoord. Boycott and spread the word...to reddit's competition! Stay off reddit entirely on June 12th through the 13th- instead, take to your favorite non-reddit platform of choice and make some noise in support! Don't be a jerk. As upsetting this may be, threats, profanity and vandalism will be worse than useless in getting people on our side. Please make every effort to be as restrained, polite, reasonable and law-abiding as possible.

Over the Christmas break last year I spent two weeks writing up a draft of a tabletop game for fun and thought "Hey, why don't I finally start learning how to sculpt so I can actually bring this to life?". One day I'll truly bring it to life and be able to share it all with the world. It'd be nice to talk to someone while I'm sculpting too, Youtube videos and music are nice and all, but sometimes it's nice to have someone to talk to and share what I'm working on with to get some feedback.
It's worth mentioning that I'm on the autism spectrum (high functioning). Sometimes communication can be tricky for me, but I've been working on improving my social skills. I'm a CSA and been working just the front since September. I work 10 hour shifts and lately I have been feeling a mixture of fear of talking to customers when I ring them up, rage at how I have to keep repeating the same instructions over and over again. We have really nice customers that come in regularly but I think I'm burnt out. It's the, "welcome to Walgreens! Would you like to apply...insert your card chip first face down, do you have a rewards account with us (while staring at the screen)" Are any other CSAs experiencing something similar.

In my life every little thing was perfect or nearly perfect when I was little. My parents used to shout at each other but somehow it never ended badly. They always would find a middle road but just do that while shouting. I was a happy child. My grades were good without I even open books nor doing homeworks. With SAT like exam I've got into the very best high school without even noticing the work load of the exam. Then I kept act like that without noticing how much others put effort into their studies, home life, emotional growth etc. I've got through another SAT like exam to became an university student. This time I've got shaken up yet me still being an idiot, didnt understand that my actions caused my misery. Ive finished my education, even I loved my profession my GPA was/is very average. Not we come to the title. I've discovered that motivation wasnt my problem, but lack of discipline is. I've got into masters I wanted but only after failing two different examination, finished my classes as top of my class this time but that was due to my professors well thinking. I've received internship overseas but couldnt find an office to accept me during covid era. What I really wanted was getting masters from foreign country but my 4 different application rejected and they all costs money I dont really have. I am now working at an office for two months but they are not paying me and acting like they are doing favor as I am now lack of professional experience due to spending my time on masters -btw which I didnt finish as I didnt write thesis only finishing classes so I cant add M.A. or M.S.- anyway tomorrow I will talk with my bosses as my trial time is finished. They will decide if they wanted to employ me for the minimum wage or they decide to 'employ' interns for free. This was the possible bad news. And today I've received a message from the last university that I had applied, they are asking proof of employment which wasnt listed on the application list. I will give contact of my old boss that I worked for time to time during the last 3 years but I doubt that the university will accept it. So. I feel fucked and spent my time on nothing significant. Idk what to do. I hate self pitiying and if this sounded like that Im sorry. I just looking some way out of this chaotic feeling and finally be able to relax. I miss the "everything is okay" feeling I used to had

My little LLC business will be 20 years old this year, so I'm not new at this, but despite several different concerted efforts over the years, I never feel like I've solved the cash-flow problem. I'm never not worrying about cash flow, and I'm getting tired of it. :-)
We have a total of 5 employees, including me, and everyone gets a salary. We sell consulting time by the hour as well as physical products for our industry. We make a markup on physical products (average is 30%), and we have a few sources of monthly recurring revenue. In total for the last year, revenue was split as follows:
Consulting time: 40%
Physical products: 30%
Recurring revenue: 30%.
We have both non-commercial and commercial clients. Non-commercial clients pay at the point of service and commercial clients are billed at the end of the month, net-30. Our total revenue is split almost right down the middle with 50% coming from commercial clients and 50% coming from non-commercial clients.
We consistently make a modest profit, although I have learned not to let this build up too much, as I have been caught a few times at year end with a healthy profit but no cash - that makes for an ugly tax season, and increased quarterly tax payments for the next year, etc. It's a tightrope for sure.
As a percentage of gross revenue, our expenses for the last 12 months are:
Salaries/Wages: 61%
COGS: 27%
Overhead: 4%
Merchant Fees: 1%
EE Benefits: 3%
Profit: 4%
Intellectually, I know that keeping more cash in the business is the key to dealing with this whole problem, but it's never as simple as that. One month when a handful of my biggest commercial clients decide to pay late (because THEY are having a bad month) is all it takes until I'm worrying about making payroll again. Then, when I use extra cash or hit the credit line up to cover that payroll, it takes months and months to build the extra cash back up or pay off the credit line again.
I should probably take a pay cut to free up more cash, but I'm finally making a pretty good living and able to fund retirement, see the end of my own mortgage coming up and affording a decent vacation once in a while, so I'm loathe to give any of that up. I don't have an extravagant lifestyle, but I'm comfortable, and I'd like to stay that way. Personally, my only debt is a mortgage, and that should be gone in 18 months. I've got about 8 years left until I retire, and I'd like to feel I've solved this problem before I pass the business on to my progeny (who has been working for me for 10 years now and will take over when I retire).
I'd like to believe there is a magic bullet solution, but I just don't think that's the case. So maybe a big dose of reality from folks who have been down this path before will help...

If I say something that bothers her, she says I don’t look well. I get scared because that always means she wants to medicate me. So I stop talking. Then I get quiet and she says I look really unwell.
I try to swallow my confusion but a part of me always wants to refuse. She watches me take the pills so I can’t spit them out or throw them away. If I cause a fuss, she’ll say I’m being dangerous.
My family knows when this happens and tells me I should behave myself and listen.
She knows not to overdose and doesn’t harm me while I sleep. The pills just make me sleepy and a little on edge for a day. And it’s not too often, every three months or so.
Is this okay? I don’t want to fight with her. I don’t know how I should behave to prevent this. She says she likes it when I am happy but I can’t be happy all the time, it’s why I’m on the pills in the first place. It’s like she’s using that against me.

Hello guys, it's me again. I wrote the previous post about my idea for a new difficulty called All Evidence Mode - the mode where oppositely to zero evidence where ghosts don't give any evidence, the ghost would give ALL SEVEN evidences. I want to acknowledge Insym's response and re-answer some questions in a post so it's easier for others to see.
I wanted to make a quick post since Insym acknowledged the idea on stream. I think it's very good to have somebody as influential as Insym agree with this idea. If there's any single person who furthered the success of Phasmophobia, it would be Insym. Most of us agree he has good insight for the future of the game, and so I hope the developers will take this concept in for more consideration.

There was someone who posted on the Phasmo Reddit with a different difficulty idea, which I actually ... at first glance I was like "this is stupid," but then he actually, or they actually, explained what their idea was ... basically the idea they had was a difficulty option where instead of no evidence, it's all evidence. So, every ghost will give every evidence. Now the reason why this is interesting is because ... that way, you won't be able to use evidence to figure out what ghost it is, but you can still use the special evidence interactions to figure out the ghost. So you can do like DOTS for Goryo, you can do Spirit Box for Deo, Moroi. It would be pretty interesting because every ghost would give everything ... but yeah I thought it was a pretty interesting idea. That was a clever idea from Mr. Reddit. ...
Mimic would be, yeah, Mimic would not be obvious. Because right now Mimic is super obvious, cause you'll just get like orbs when you're running zero evidence, and you know immediately that you're dealing with a Mimic, but that wouldn't be the case either. That would actually be quite interesting. How would you figure out Mimic? You would actually have to use your brain for once! Because you actually have to detect multiple different ghosts. Like yeah, it would be a really difficult ghost, but that's kind of the point of the Mimic.

I'll also compile a few questions/statements made in the last post that will hopefully bump the idea in everyone's mind.

Yes, All Evidence mode is "no evidence with extra steps." The evidence ghosts leave will not help you identify the ghost, unless the ghost provides a special interaction with the evidence. It is aimed at being a segue between evidence and no evidence runs - you still have to use your knowledge on each of the ghosts to determine what it is, but you get more options of what to interact with in the process.

There is nothing about this that doesn't work at all with the base game. In fact, it uses only base game mechanics to create a new experience in the game. And every game idea is "fanfic game mechanics" until it makes it into the base game =) I forget exactly which, but there is a ghost in the game that was Psycho's idea. Before they added it, it was just a "fanfic game mechanic."

"I am a new zero evidence player and these extra steps sound like unnecessary complications and absolutely awful."

When I started really getting into Phasmophobia, I instantly fell in love with zero evidence mode. I wanted to prove to myself (and others) that I truly understood the entirety of the base mechanics of the game. It was satisfying to discover what the ghost was at the bare minimum. But eventually, I couldn't stop thinking of 2 things:
1) I missed going in and setting up the evidence items to find the ghost, but I still enjoyed relying on game knowledge to find the ghost. Even 1 evidence was too easy to me - finding a single piece of evidence crosses off half of the ghosts.
2) What I was really enjoying was taking a picture of a ghost to discover if it was a Phantom, setting up salt and a motion sensor to discover if it was a Wraith, using either the paramic or motion sensors to discover if it was a Banshee, measuring its speed and related factors to determine if it was a different-speed ghost, and so on. I did not like having to rule out Obake by watching it during its entire hunt. I did not like having no way to prove it is a Goryo. And if the devs included a few more basic interactions, it would make Yurei and Mare that much more interesting.
These changes would be nice additions that would help you find out what ghost you have in ways that are still interesting, and that require you to understand how each ghost individually works. And if it were too complicated, somebody could just not use most of the difficulty, if they wanted to! The beauty of Phasmo you can play however you want - as long as the devs add a way for you to play however you want.

I do believe you could argue that it would be a little bit easier than no evidence, but only in a good way. There are indeed more tests you can do to discover the ghost type, but you still have to do those tests. With more tests able to be performed, that's more time for you to be sitting in the house, draining sanity, as you incorporate just a couple more tests to limit down the ghost you have. Then, if you're up to it, you have to prove that the ghost you have isn't a Mimic! You may end up in the house a little less on average, but you'll also end up doing more work instead of fighting with some of the more tedious mechanics!
Although zero evidence was originally intended to be just a challenge for those with elite game knowledge, it still turned out to be super fun. There's no reason not to improve on it to require the same (or more, in this case) game knowledge while increasing the interaction you can do with all of the game mechanics. And if you still preferred zero evidence, you could still just play zero evidence! :)

Although I've already disputed single-evidence, I'll give you that The Mimic will be a tough one. But that is the point of The Mimic, yes? The Mimic won't even be that hard. Upon start of investigation, unless you check for orbs first, you don't have a way of suspecting The Mimic. But once you narrow down your ghosts, you can easily test for a Mimic by noting a behavior change outside of your options. And if your Mimic switches between ghosts that are harder to differentiate, you probably were going to have a hard time differentiating the two anyway. In fact, The Mimic will be even easier to identify by noticing your Yurei- or Goryo-like ghost suddenly runs really quickly or has the Deo Spirit Box response.
I want to further emphasize - The Mimic is supposed to be the hardest ghost to identify by description of the ghost. The trickster ghost is the easiest to identify in zero evidence at the moment, and that alone is a problem.

This is a fact, but not really a problem. At the moment it's not really hard to tell where the ghost is moving either. The thermometer still gives the ghost room away; it's only as slow as the tick speed of the display. Using the UV light to track the ghost movement is just an alternative to listening with your ears - if fingerprints are left on something, there is also a sound and probably something moving as well.
In fact, to me, having more ways to track the ghost's movement is only an upgrade - it doesn't really tell you that much about the specific ghost, but makes it easier to run more tests. And when I say easier, I don't mean it takes away from the difficulty, I just mean weeding out the tedious aspects of zero evidence that take away from the moments where you could be expressing game knowledge.

Thanks again to the Devs for creating such a wonderful, interesting problem-solving game for people like me to dream up ideas on how to make the game even more fun for others. Phasmophobia has such a strong community, and I know that if the Devs are listening, that will only strengthen the community.
I want to say a thank you to Insym for reviewing the idea briefly on stream, as well as for being a major reason people know how to play this game. You are the reason I got back into the game, why I started enjoying zero evidence, and why I dreamed up ways to improve it even more.

I think it's natural for new ideas to receive some hate, as that will allow for ideas to be strengthened and improved.
